Sorry, promised a script for this a good while back.

Still, better late than never, I suppose:

There's at least one embarassingly large mistake in there. It may get fixed in some future version.

Okay, I actually laughed out loud when the Orc ran into the audience to kill the "Boromir" volunteer in the reduced reduced version.

I love this exchange:

"Mippin: Are you the same Glorfindel who killed the Balrog in the escape from Gondolin?

Glorfindel: Yes. No. Come, I will take your friend to Rivendell."

And this:

"Galadriel: By strand, do you mean, a lock, a tuft, a curl, a plait or a single hair?

Gimli: [quietly] Yes."

I love this so much! I'm gonna print it for my mom...Some of her students might like to try putting it on...

My favorite bit is Gandalf at the bridge []

"Thengal" is just a typo rather than the mistake alluded to - though thanks for catching that.

I'm glad people seem to enjoy it, at any rate. It was great fun to write/put on. Let us know how it goes if your mum's students do have a go at performing it, Neytari.

This is SOOOOOOO clever that I wish I had written it! Well done indeed! Having seen a reduced Shakespeare, I can fully picture this production. I will share it with my fellow Tolkieniacs. Thag you very buch!!
