Entertainment Weekly got a sneak peek at The Hobbit and were able to come away with three awesome images. The first is our first look at Martin Freeman as Bilbo (with the Dwarves in the background), the second is Ian McKellen back in his Gandalf the Grey garb, and the third is a shot of Peter Jackson and Freeman together in Bag End.

It's two days after my birthday as well as it happens! But I very, very, rarely watch film when they first come out. I prefer to wait a week or two and avoid the crush.

Looks pretty good!

I'm glad they have Ian McKellen as Gandalf - I don't think there is any other who could be Gandalf better!

Still, the release date is so far away and it's like, what, 7 days before the end of the world?? []

Well, I suppose there are worse movies one could watch before the end of the world []
