Good morning to you all! I have never been here before, and alas that is a shame for myself for I seem to have missed many good times. I am a passionate fan of the trilogy and would welcome any polite conversation on that subject. I have taken the name of Bombadil to celebrate the character that I missed; having not been included in the film.

Old Tom Bombadil is a merry fellow;
Bright blue his jacket is, and his boots are yellow.

Hullo there Tom!

There are advantages to being known of in the form of parchment and ink, while remaining unknown and unseen through the medium of the palantir, my friend.

Welcome!

Garn! those dratted palantir! I remember a time when one could walk upon middle earth without fear of being gazed upon through those fell stones of seeing.

Greetings Old Tom Bombadil,

By that pool long ago
I bid a sad farewell,
To wander wide and far ahome.
I seek my mother's gladsome songs
Throughout this Middle Earth.
Her voice untimely silenced be,
Yet still can mortal heart set free:
'O wind on the waterfall and the leaves' laughter,'
May the pure clear River spirit
Mellow time's disaster.

Welcome!

*dances the first few steps of the Shahallion*

'Old Tom Bombadil water-lilies bringing
Comes hopping home again. Can you hear him singing?'

Welcome, Tom Bombadil! You have my blessings whilst you remain among us! Be well and merry, good Bombadil.

Oh, and to Bethberry, encore I say!

"Roof!" called a creaking voice.
The liftman was a small simian creature, dressed in the black tunic of an Epsilon-Minus Semi-Moron.
"Roof!"
He flung open the gates. The warm glory of afternoon sunlight made him start and blink his eyes. "Oh, roof!" he repeated in a voice of rapture. He was as though suddenly and joyfully awakened from a dark annihilating stupor. "Roof!"

Greetings, neighbor Tom!

It is too bad you aren't more well-known in the Shire, because hobbits have always had a friend in Old Tom Bombadil. I hope you make many new ones here in Minas Tirith.

*curtsies with delight to meet a new friend*
